Social media posting is forbidden and could lead to termination, based on Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality agreements previously signed by individuals and/or their employers.

The implications this could have on security and our work environment would impact and devastate all of us for the entire run.  Longer check-in lines, vehicle searches, bag searches, etc.; these measures could become a daily occurrence as a result of these posts. Not to mention, the above implied additional security and due process would come at a cost, a cost that no one wants to pay. So from here on, please make sure everyone is aware of the following;

No Posting to Social Media

No Mention of Site, Dates, Times, Event or Client Name

No Online Check-ins or tagging yourself at the site

No Pictures on Social Media

No Guessing Games of "Where's Waldo" on Social Media

Allow extra travel time!!!

Access routes to the venue are limited and weekday traffic is heavy during commute hours.  You are expected to be checked in 15 minutes before your call time everyday.  You will need to Bring 2 Forms of ID your First day on Site

You must check in with IATSE 134 when you arrive at Shoreline. Please note  the dates and locations of parking/ check-in below, as they will change throughout the event.

Tuesday, April 9th to May 5th

Live Nation Payroll Instructions

Live Nation is the payroll company for Google IO @ Shoreline Amphitheatre. Please read all of the information below. 

-If you did not work google IO at Shoreline last year or for Live Nation on any other gigs through Local 134 please let one of the Call Stewards know so we can email you the Personal Information Form with Live Nation and put you into contact with there  HR Department so you can take care of your Hiring Packet.  After sending in your Personal Information Form you will receive 2 emails from workday@livenation.com to complete your new hire on boarding with Live Nation. You will not be able to work until you complete the online hiring process. You must also present 2 valid forms of ID before you can work (this can be done onsite or you can send to Local 134 in advance). Acceptable forms of ID include: Unexpired Passport or Passport Card, Driver’s License, State Issued ID, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate. Please take the time to complete your on boarding ASAP as to not delay or prevent you from working at Shoreline. 

-If you worked Google IO at Shoreline last year and have moved or would like access to your information in workday, please inform one of the Call Stewards before your first day to follow the same steps as New Hires. Once you have access to Workday, you can obtain your pay information, sign up for direct deposit and change your tax withholding. 

We highly encourage everyone to sign up for direct deposit with Live Nation via Workday. Live Nation checks get mailed from Houston, TX and do not arrive in the mail for approx 3-5 days after the listed pay dates.

Please state at check-in if you need to change your address on file, and/or, your tax deductions.
Once you are checked-in, proceed to LOT D1 where you will be directed to your Steward/Head of Department and assigned your work duties for the day.

SAFETY & HEALTH

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Employer supplied Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is limited. Please consider providing your own:
• Hard Hat (ANSI Z89.1 approved).
• Hi Vis Safety Vest Class 2 or 3.
• Appropriate working attire and closed toed shoes.
• Heavy equipment operators must have proof of certification.
• Stagehands with required skills sets must bring proper tools. See recommended tool list.

Step 2 – See On-Site Medic
Step 3 – Fill out Appropriate Paperwork

GENERAL RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT

• Credentials provided must be worn and visible at all times.
• Social media posts in relation to the event and scope of work are not permitted for any reason. No photos/videos of structures, scenic elements, documents, signage, talent, and/or any other event or venue related content shall be allowed at any time.
• No skateboards or bicycles are allowed anywhere on-site for the whole duration of the event.
• No overnight parking allowed on-site or in lots adjacent to Shoreline Amphitheatre. Failure to comply will result in towing of vehicle at owner’s expense.
• No camping or loitering allowed at any time.
• It is expected for all IATSE crew members to follow California Laws regarding safety, harassment and workplace conduct. Overall professionalism while on-site is required and expected.

MEALS/BEVERAGES

All meals will be provided on-site. Your Steward will provide daily meal tickets and advise meal and break times and locations.
Please confirm with your Steward.
It is strongly recommended that you bring a refillable water bottle to ensure proper hydration throughout run of event. Facility will provide drinking water on site.

**Employees who do not participate in direct deposit will not receive their paycheck on the actual pay date. Mailed checks are typically received between Monday-Wednesday following the pay date.**

DIRECT DEPOSIT: Live Nation offers direct deposit and highly encourages this method of payment. Please ask for the Direct Deposit form at Check-in desk and provide a voided check OR direct deposit form from your bank.

All clothes should be clean, no tears or stains; shirts should be buttoned up, pants pulled up; no open toed shoes.

 

Work Clothes: Jeans or other work pants; shorts or sleeveless shirts may not be acceptable in certain circumstances.

 

Show Blacks: Same as work clothes but black; jeans or cargo pants, small logos are acceptable.

 

Tech Blacks: Collared shirt (polo or button up), small logos may be acceptable; unfaded black jeans or Dockers; black shoes or sneakers.

 

Dress Blacks: Button up black shirt, no logos; black dockers or dress slacks, polishable shoes.

 

PPE:

From the Outline of Workers Obligations

 

A WORKER AT THE JOB SITE SHALL HAVE THE REQUIRED TOOLS

A Basic Hand Tools required:

Hammer, 8” Adjustable Wrench, Slotted & Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, Wire Cutters, Knife, and Gloves, Pen or Pencil and Flashlight.

Other specific tools may be required for other specifically assigned work (i.e., riggers, A/V techs, etc.) If this is the case, the appropriate steward will notify you.

Steel toe safety shoes and safety glasses (if you normally wear glasses are strongly recommended and are the responsibility of the worker.

Recommended Tools include:

Tool Belt or Pouch, Battery Powered Screwdriver/Drill, Measuring Tape, Socket, Open End, Box End and/or Ratchet Wrenches.

Failure to have the required tools may result in your replacement on the call.
